Faith Formation Around The Area

January and February offer many faith formation opportunities for all, not just students but also faculty, staff and the general public. We have curated a few from the diocese in the immediate USI radius for your convenience.

Fishers of Men Workshop

Saturday & Sunday January 17 & 18th

St. Philip Church

It’s time for a game-changer in the Church. For too long we’ve concentrated on circling the wagons in defense against the world, or we’ve concentrated on personal holiness…both are good things! But we’re missing something necessary - a sense of MISSION. Jesus sent his disciples out to be Fishers of Men.

This is a new diocesan training initiative to train our people in evangelization. Open to the public! https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B084CAEA82AA5FF2-59508746-fishers/28466213#/

Saturday, January 31 at USI - the Griffin Center

The St. Hildegard Symposium is a new initiative by Eagle Catholic, the Catholic Newman community at the University of Southern Indiana. Inspired by St. Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179)—a Doctor of the Church known for her interdisciplinary expertise—the Symposium promotes the integration of faith and academic excellence.
